About the Opportunity

Our Government of Canada client has a requirement for multiple administrative support resources to assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports, statements and other documents.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • To provide document review of electronic files in support of individual claims as part of the class actions, for eventual disclosure to support claimants
  • Assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports, statements and other documents
  • Use electronic reference tools for the purposes of researching and resolving client inquiries
  • Assemble and disseminate correspondence and briefing materials
  • Participate in the verification and quality control of documents
  • Use software for the purpose of document redactions
  • Analyze, research and interpret information
  • Interpret provisions of policy or legislation
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Manage a heavy workload, set priorities and meet strict timeframes
  • Produce high-quality and precise vetted documents using electronic tools, in accordance with internal procedures
  • Highlight any information for the senior analyst’s consideration with potential impacts to privacy and/or security
  • The resources must perform the work virtually (from home)
  • No travel is anticipated for performance of the work under this contract

During the contract period the client will provide the following;

  1. Laptop and VPN connection
  2. Access to required documentation and software
  3. Access to Senior Analysts and management for training, and support as required

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant work experience
  • 12 months relevant experience
  • Must have completed two (2) projects with document control/review
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Meet tight deadlines
  • Be familiar with general office procedures, equipment and software
  • Have a strong commitment to people, processes, policies and confidentiality
  • Enhanced reliability clearance is a definite asset
  • Bilingualism is also an asset (multiple roles available and half are bilingual)

About the Job

  • 8 weeks contract, telework, full time Monday to Friday
  • Salary: to be determined
