Document Preparation Technicians - Contract - 15112
About the Opportunity
Our Public Sector client is in need of Document Preparation Technicians to assist with an increased workload.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Physically preparing/separating official records for digitization from select files
- Identifying distinct and individual official records with barcode separator
- Distinguishing the different format of official records that can or will be digitalized and remove those that will not be digitalized
- Capturing the authenticity of the record as portions are separated and re-positioned to prepare the original record for digitization
- Report any issue or problem immediately
- Perform quality control and quality assurance
- Perform quality assurance
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalency (must be able to provide copy)
- Three (3) months experience in general office clerical tasks handling physical documents such as photocopying, faxing and scanning documents, filing documents
- Demonstrate three (3) months of experience in handling/or lifting goods up to 20lbs
- Have a minimum of six (6) continuous months of experience in service industries that are client focused, fast-paced and high-pressure working environment
- Be in possession of a valid level 2 secret security clearance
- Strong attention to detail and using sound judgement in dismantling and yet maintaining the document’s integrity
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to perform repetitive clerical and physical tasks, such as removing staples, replacing and inserting new dividers, accurately positioning sticky-notes as per procedures
- Proven track record of being a reliable and responsible team member in holding a good attendance and delivering quality work
- Ability to safely handle or lift files and boxes up to 20lbs
About the Job
- Ability to work on site Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
- Salary 17$ per hour
- Duration: ASAP to June 30, 2023
